I realy think it's a shame the upgraded version doesn't stack with your starting mark. It kinda ruins the advantage of owning a mark card at all, doesn't it?

Well it's still targetable, but more quanta stacks = better for Earthquake resistance. So just like monos can do Pend/Tower split, someone with too much tourney wins could do Pend/Tower/Upgraded Mark split

The most awesome thing about marks though is that they are technically other...

So if you use nymph's tear's on them, you still get a random nymph rather than one matching the element.
