What they were saying (I think) is if you have an

pendulum with :airmark then when you play the (upped) pendulum, you will always get the 1

for playing it, but if at the end of the turn, your pendulum stack was on

then your pendulum that you just laid wont create

So you get the quanta you normally would for just playing it, BUT whatever the stack is currently on is what it will produce at the end of the turn
