...he was also looking for a better name than Pendulum I believe...
Oscillator?

Reciprocator (like reciprocal arms in steam engines etc)?

Prolly spelt all that wrong.

Or Bistable Multivibrator (doesn't exactly trip off the tongue, that one)

These Pendulums are a really cool addition to a deck.  Good for both mono and duo decks...

agreed, pendulum doesn't sound right for what the card does (by looking at the image)
/me goes on Word --> pendulum --> synonyms --> (no suggestions) >_< DOH!

ummm... what about:
Alternator? (too chessy imo)
Clockwork Pillar (too long?)
Alternate Production (pretty cool :D)
Quanta Switcher
Quanta Changer
Duo-Pillar
Mechanical Pillar (cool)
Quanta Manufacturer

some suggestions

I think pendulum is quite fitting... and the image is slick... but the two don't really go together... but that's ok with me.. :)

Pendulums really swinging things around.

Question tho, could this initiate a  Quantum mark to use with the pendulum? and/or a Quantum Pendulum?

You get the nymph of that element, just like with a pillar.
