Osiris got Shard of Focus now! Failed with the Aether deck. He just destroyed all pillars/shields that I played.

I just played a slightly modified version of the 500hp EM deck. Eventually Osiris played a shard, which was the first time I've seen one in-game and I was like fffuuuu how can I deal with that, I guess I'll just lose now.

Then he ate it with a scarab. Ate the three other shards too before using them. Got two out of three shards on two spins but won nothing.

FGs can. Akebono and Osiris both have 4 SoFos.

Didn't know he had SoF now too....managed to beat Akebono the other day with a 500 HP EM deck despite the SoF, but Osiris owned me hard (was playing a similar 500 HP deck to the one in the opening post).
He had four SoF on the field by turn 3 and destroyed everything.
I tried to not play the Grav Shield and bait him with everything else, but then BH removed my grav quanta and I couldn't play the shield in time, gg.
Need to come up with a new deck for him, next time he's my Oracle prediction I'll get my revenge

So I had several ideas but in the end I decided to go with the most basic one, add PA and make small changes. Here's the deck I used:

Worked well, but I think it can still be tweaked.
The main trouble is when he starts the battle by playing SoF, once his field is full, as Polari mentionned, the scarabs will eat the SoF before the ability is used, so by then it's no threat.
That's why I felt I could get away with only 5 PA, but of course 6 could be played too.
At the start he had one SoF out and I let him destroy my pillars before playing the SoG's, which I couldnt protect (had only 1 PA which of course has to go on the Grav Shield).

One other issue is the deck size, I tried my best to keep it small, because he decks out pretty quickly, making it hard to get to 500 HP if the deck is bigger.
Thought about playing SoD to help reduce the earth quanta you need for the Skins, but then of course the deck gets bigger, so yeah doubt it's worth it.
Also thought about SoF, but once his field is full it would just get eaten by the scarabs, making it a dead card by then so I decided to stick to the Pulvy's.

Tried the unupped time/darkness. Don't know if it was bad draws or version 1.3 change or what, but first of all, second turn SoF destroyed a couple pillars/pendulums early. He then catapulted it, but it still meant quanta shortages for awhile. Then I stole Eternity, but then he destroyed it three rounds later. No other Eternities came up during the game. He also kept playing pharaohs instead of summoning scarabs, so three scarabs at 3/3 kept hitting me for nine every turn.

Overall, I think if I had been lucky, this would have worked, but it doesn't seem super dependable to me...

Yyeah. That deck doesn't work in 1.3 anymore since Osiris has PC now.

Hated Osiris so much... Went into False God battle with Instosis, ended up meeting him with 2 Shard of Focus out . The battle ended with two thrown Pharoahs to the face after 4 Catapulted SoFs... GG
