Chapuz 3 - 2 Septima Rhay

Spoiler for games:

Game 1 (L) against Speed Poison. Trying to rush with 6 creatures trusting to draw a Tesse. I would've done it if I didn't play all 6 Hogs before he displayed 3 consecutive Dry Spells, killing all a turn before I won. I never drew a Discord.


Game 2 (W) against rejuv frog. I got the Shard pack just to play this deck. I packed the shields to protect against hogs, but they worked good enough with the frogs too.


Game 3 (W) against Bonecats. I could bolt/afla the Vultures soon enough


Game 4 (L) to Shrieker Rush. Not enough Dry Spells


Game 5 (W) worked wonders against mono death. He removed the bone wall on the last minute before the match to make it rushier and that costed him the game. I would have lost because he was poisoning me.

g1: Devs delayed my discord and lightnings killed most of the damage I managed to play
g2: BW saved me here, allowing me to collect quanta for arse and mummies
g3: After a mulligan I got the perfect starting hand for immo, he was starting to set up when I killed him
g4: A clutch NM draw made the whole difference
g5: asdw didn't realise I had a Siren underneath the cloak and built an 18 attack sader, which ended poorly for him

spite not triggering when it doesnt hit (through wing for example) makes it much weaker than i thought and all my cats died immediately, so despite his 1 pend start things were looking grim until pande changed everything; pu on a vulture that hasnt been drafted, all other vultures basically unaffected and hugely boosted by the dead fireflies
