Why did you choose your username?

Unlike popular belief my name has nothing to do with the English word beef, it was a dutch nickname. Then when I made my first e-mail account I tried everything Beef-ish without adding numbers, Beef, theBeef, etcetera, and found out TheonlyrealBeef wasn't taken yet, so I used that name ever since

I used to play Megaman Zero a lot and liked it. This was around the time I first designed my user name.  I based my username of the my favorite weapon of the game, the Z-Saber.  Oh the good times of running around in that game, cutting every evil robot you found to pieces.

Shoulda been "Luke Skywalker" or "Darth Vader". I mean, just look at that gif. xD


Dm. Why Dm...

About 3 years ago, I joined a first massive multiplayer game.. and.. I was just pressing random letters on my keyboard. I wanted something easy to remember. I decided to press all the letters and then stay with the 2 firsts. Dm were the 2 firsts.

But Dm was 2 letters. The accounts NEEDED to be 3 letters/numbers. Damn Accounts. So I tried Dm1, but it was lazy. And I tried Dm12, but that sounded meh. Dm123 looked like I wanted to show off that I can count. So for some reason I just went "Dm1321". Annd.. For some reason I like the name, and I just stick with it wherever I go.

Don't ask. =P

Meh, Zblader sounds cooler.
Oh and I'll ask. Why'd you like it?

It was very long ago, and the first version was 'Shantuger', if I remember correctly.. This name just came when I was thinking of a nickname for a game (Populous I think?). I didn't have internet access back then, so I used it only in games I played. After that, I used 'Solitrone' for a while. The origin of this was from primary school: we were playing something between lessons when one of my friends called me something like 'Sholti' (instead of Zsolti).. and then, Solitrone hit me that moment as a cool name. I didn't use it for long though (perhaps a year?). For some reason which I do not know, I switched to Shantu. I do not remember why I chose this name, but I've been using it ever since. I didn't even realise for a long time that it looked like the old name I used, I didn't make a connection in my mind. It's pretty interesting, as it means 'absolute quietude' or 'peace' in Hindu, and is one of the Rasas.
I like it as a nickname because it has a nice tribal or indian feeling to it and it has grown to me.

Asymmetry was a band name I thought of, but the guys scrapped it after i found "The asymmetry" already in use. And they played like the same genre. Meh
My (at that time) band dissolved by the date I made my forum account, (good musicians but unmanageable egos, not cool at all) so I said to myself ¿why not?

Now I'm not a fangirl anymore and honestly regret taking this name, but I decided use it to demonstrate the power and the significance of females. I guess I'm living up to this standard, since I'm the first female elemental Master appointed as well as having a variety of roles in this community

then I started playing kongai with this account, and a couple months after that, I became pretty well-known in kongai community, so now, this is my main internet avatar name...
