You should have posted this in politics. The implications are pretty enormous. For example, a law firm that HBGary was working with, Hunton & Williams -- a major player in DC, was hired by Bank of America to try to take preemptive measures against Wikileaks (their next big leak will be about BoA). This law firm was recommended to BoA by the US Department of Justice. Meanwhile, HBGary was also preparing work for the Chamber of Commerce (again, through Hunton and Williams). These emails contain all kinds of nasty dirt, as this New York Times article (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/02/12/us/politics/12hackers.html) details. This is dark stuff about the situation in the US today.

Something about it will be on the Colbert Report tonight.
