Is anyone here a flash programmer? Advice/discussion and stuff

How did you learn?  How long did you take you to learn?  Have you made any stuff?

I have done some flash projects. Although they kind of suck. The only two I have posted are on kongregate, with my user "glopso"(same as here). I learned by looking at tutorials and am still learning new things about flash and actionscript. I got Flash CS4 at a discount because my dad works at Motorola, which has a lot of UCSD interns. He gave money to one to buy the Flash CS4 for me in exchange for lunch. So I saved $450
(700 original price - 250 discount price = 450 saved)

I first learnt Flash at the MX2004 era. I bought a book and read though it. BTW, go to Kongregate and there is a tutorial on how to make Flash games.

I'm far from a good Flash programmer (and I think I still have much much much much more to learn), but I've made a few crappy games 4 or 5 years ago. I am working on a big project but no progress for years already. (I think I should call it an abandoned project.)

Do the kongregate shootorial, it should help.  Be sure you add your own flair.  If you make it creative enough, you can get almost 3/5.
