Well, this is one post that saddens me.
I consider myself a veteran of this community now, I've been here for a long time. You know what? I still feel like Submachine joined yesterday ... Let me put a flashback for you
War With Shards. An event that majofa tried to organize. Submachine was still relatively new, and was sent to my team. I basically tried to show him my view on how to build a vault. We talked a lot, we tested decks, back then I still considered him a noob.
Later came events, I've seen Submachine more and more around the forums. He was growing with experience, that's where Submachine stopped being a noob, and started being a real member.
Then came War. War under the light banner was a real experience for me. Considering I'm a darkness lover and always have been, though I've never rejected light, it seemed funny.
But that's not the only thing : That's also where I learned to know sub more. It's where Submachine stopped being a just a member. That's where Submachine became a friend to me.
War ended in a pathetic loss for us. But we grew and learned and are, or at least I am, still proud of what we did. Because you know what? Yes there are things we could have done better, but if i could go back , I would not change a thing.
After War, I started seeing Sub everywhere, and i mean everywhere. With events, with staff position, wwith everything. That's when Sub became what I call a pillar of this community.
Community can still stand without a pillar, but it is fragile, and really did better with it. Community will miss it's pillar, we will all miss you Sub.
P.S. If you read this, and if you want to, send me your Skype info ( if you use skype) so we can keep in contact.
P.P.S. In the case where I already have you skype and have forgotten, just poke me, tell me im dumb, and all is cool.
