I'm a little suprised that no one has actually started a topic about this yet, so I thought I'd just make a thread where people shared their opinions on Japan's current state. I in particular am curious about what people's thoughts on the nuclear reactors are.

I was surprised too.

Mostly, I feel sorry for them, but they're strong people, so I know they will recover...

Talk about strong. I haven't heard anything about looting and whatnot. Even if they weren't strong, they have the most points for maturity.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

Sorry to kill your joke, but I don't think that was even the slightest bit appropriate.

My thoughts go out to them all, especially the ones who have lost family, as I know exactly how it feels.

Well, I really hope they can recover from this. They've had a lot of troubles with just this one incident. Like others here in this thread my heart goes out to them.

Japan is a strong country and they are always prepared for earthqueakes and tsunamis, but not this one...

Anythings, my wishes go to Japan for it to recover, for its sake and my Japanese teacher's. すぐに回復する!

Japan is handling it so well were as in Katrina (New Orleans) we were eating each other. Good luck to Japan. I hope you're not to bad after an 8.4 earthquake followed by a 10.0 tsunami (the worst or centuries).

can you believe that some people are more worried about the break anime might take due to this more than they care about the fact that a s*** ton of people died? it sickens me how selfish some people can be.
my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "its better than yours" damn right, its better than yours! i can teach you but i'd have to charge!
