This is not a huge issue because you were able to finish the auction which is the most important thing.

I made Demagog a temporary General. He will do all the General stuff until you return. There won't be any card penalties or anything like that. Team will take some "penalties" though because they will have to use a substitute, and also Demagog as a temporary General cannot use any upped cards.
