Musics?

Just randomly wondering what kind of music some of ya'll like? I'm a bit of a fan of Horrorcore and Metal and some Rap right now. And as people tell what kind of music that they like others can recommend some of their favorites from that genre as well. Just an idea for maybe a possibility for a new thread to be added, if the topic happens to get big enough, that is.

Nightwish is a huge favorite of mine, and is hard to place them in a genre, but symphonic metal works.  They have a singer that can actually sing which is a must for me, great and varied solos, and they record choirs/symphonies that would fit right in with an epic sound track.  They have been my favorite band ever since I started listening to real music.

I may have to check out Nightwish, I've listened to a couple groups like that off and on throughout the years, and I generally listen to a wide variety of music... Nearly everything aside pop and country, to be honest. And the idea of "symphonic metal" does sound kinda nifty... Especially considering you mentioned they have a singer that can actually sing.

Fellow metal-heads?  they do exist. I tend to enjoy everything from indi rock to speed metal and screamo. My favorite bands are Seether and All that Remains, though it's impossible to deny the greatness of Tool and Mastadon. idk I love to many bands to really pick a single favorite and Im constantly collecting new (and old) music; ipod currently has 1733 songs.

If youre new to Seether or AtR I highly suggest Hold On off of AtR's newest album and World Falls Away from Seether's Karma and Effect album.

Tool is great, 10,000 days is one of those few albums I can just play straight through.  My Chemical Romance is one of my favorites much to my roommate's dismay
