SHUT (Sunday's Homemade Underground Tournaments) is a tournament organized every Sunday.

Now that ji412jo has left the forum SHUT is under new management and we will be voting on new times.
(please note the time you vote for is the time you want rules to be announced)

Now a bit about SHUT.

SHUT is a unofficial tourney that is hosted on sundays. There are 2 shuts every sunday so more people can participate, currently the times for SHUT are 15 and 24 GMT.

These time are not optimal and will be changing based on the poll in this thread.

The rules for each SHUT are explained an hour beforehand at 15 and 24 GMT. Duels begin an hour later at 16 and 1 GMT.

There is no prize for shut but we will compile a list of SHUT winners to possibly be used for some later event.

Currently there are no plans to have a upped SHUT, all SHUTs are unupped.

Ok , after a talk with Essence, these tournaments will turn a bit special.

I am taking down the names of the winners of the tournaments and an event might be created about it.

To join this event, you will need to have won a SHUT tournament.

This list will be edited as tournaments go on, and when we have 32 something interesting can start.

Yes that is accurate but just looking over it a few of those people have quit. (2 or 3)

I can play 7-8 EST. I think that works out to 12-13GMT while we are on EDT (daylight savings).

The idea is the two best times. We aren't going to necessarily take the single time that got the most votes, we're going to judge it on what groups of times have the most votes (and that we can actually run it during)

This week SHUT will be a little special. We are trying out new times for the afternoon tournament (this week will rules will be given at 1 GMT and the tournament will start at 2 GMT). Also we will be assigning seeds based on timely attendance and the seeds WILL mean something this week.

UTC = GMT. So just vote for whenever you are awake and active and open to participating in a tournament, then remove three hours.
