I'm very sorry to hear that JM. I hope your dad's surgery goes well, and I wish you, him, and the rest of your family the best. You have my support, man.

I just found out that my dad has a cancerous tumor in his bladder. All I know is that he is having surgery in September. Any prayer and support is greatly appreciated....

I'll be praying, and I'll ask my congregation to pray for your father as well.

In the meantime, I highly encourage you to look up the "Kelly Cancer Diet (http://educate-yourself.org/cancer/kellymetabolicdiet13dec02.shtml)".  It's a VERY extreme diet that's very hard to follow -- but my mother in law had a stage 2a melanoma in her foot, and she followed the diet strictly for a month.

When she went in to have the tumor operated on, they literally couldn't find it.  They did the operation regardless, but all they did was excise a bunch of basically healthy tissue "just in case".  Furthermore, my mother-in-law is a nutritionist, so she was able to tell me why it works. :)

If you're interested in more detail, Email me. (essense@comcast.net)
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Well, my dad had surgery and got a report back. The cancer was low-stage and was non-aggressive, which means that he should be fine. He will, however, have to have periodic check-ups with his urologist. I get to see him next week. :)

Thank you all for your prayers and support!

im not surprised it was successful, but i am glad. even though people keep saying cancer in later stages is impossible to get rid of, thats just wrong. its very possible, it would just take a large amount of time. it is very serious though, and im happy hes ok.
my milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they're like "its better than yours" damn right, its better than yours! i can teach you but i'd have to charge!
