Origins of Names

As many of you have seen, and gotten accustomed to, we have a variety of names present in the Forums.

This begs the question:  Where did they come from?  What inspired you to name yourself as such?

My favorite element is darkness, so I decided to choose a name that meant fear of the darkness as a bit of a pun. I don't know why I switched the word order though.

when i was little i enjoyed the fantasy books by raymond e. feist. In the books the Kelewan world magicians are called black robes because of their clothing. I tried to use that as my aim screen name but it was taken, and so i ended up with dark robe. Ive used it ever since cause i like the hidden reference to magic.

Absolute zero: a state of very cold temperature, the current lowest temperature possible.
Absolute zero -> absolute0zero (my IGN)
Since the last forum i visited already have someone named Zero, they called me Absol.
And that stick around, even in a forum without Zeros.

Same name as a certain dark pokemon? Coincidence!

this will be a bit hard to explain anyway ..
accuso is a corruption of my real last name that my filipino friend could not pronunce properly, it means "i accuse" in Italian and since then it has been my nickname in the life of every day.

Nah, but seriously, my original forum name back on the old forums was patchx94, patch was derived from my IRL name and '94 was the date of birth. X always makes names cooler.

When we moved to the new forums I had a chance to change my name, and I don't remember why I chose Pineapple. Perhaps half of it was to troll people who wouldn't recognize me, and the other half was because it fit me (it makes sense to name myself after a tropical fruit, as I was a pretty hardcore Water fan at that point, and it made sense to use a Pineapple with its coloring, as I'm yellow on the outside and I'm yellow on the inside). Eventually I decided not to change it back to patch.

[Fikraxtein]

Fikraxtein is medlain ; fikra is the Circle, a cell containing both planets and axtein is the verb "to sacrifice", so Fikraxtein is literally "sacrificed to the Circle", in my Crimson Void project book, this is the medlain name of Edwinna, the protagonist of books 6 to 9
