Well, that specific "group" of people at my current high school don't really like me for whatever reason..
I'm transferring high schools, though, this year, so hopefully the people at my new high school will be more..accepting of me.

As for the strict Mormon mom, that IS actually the religion.  The fact that Emma chose to go against it is irrelevant.  Mormonism is a very strict religion, so saying someone is a "strict Mormon" really is redundant.  Just sayin'.

According to their religion, young women shouldn't date until they're 16. Emma is 16. She should be able to date. It's just her mother.

True.  The missing element is that Mormons believe they should date only other Mormons.  You don't qualify, therefore Emma's age is irrelevant.

A lot of people said it here already, but the easiest way of meeting new people is to go out and do something social. Since you are into music, you could try to see in your school if someone is trying to start a band for example, you can try sports too as some people suggested.

Don't think your life is over because you had to break up with your gf and you stopped seeing your friends (btw, in case you still care about the group from the dance studio, did you try asking to be part of the chat again?). It's not the end of the world, you are just seeing things pessimisticaly because of these 2 hits you took there. I know loneliness sucks, but its best to see it as a drive to get out of it than to wallow in self pity.

Also, I'm pretty sure there are people that care about you, even if you don't realize it, so don't do something as stupid as killing yourself.

Hunh. That is...a real pity TorB Supreme.
Hrm. So you feel like you just don't have any talents? Well. I'd argue against that, but that's not the real issue here it seems.
The only issue with your musical skills is that you aren't in with the musical crowd.
As far as sports go, you're not bad, the asthma just leaves you on a short timer.
But what REALLY got you was the loss of your RL friends, moreso than anything I think.
If you don't mind me asking...You say the music group at your school (these aren't the studio people right?) doesn't really like you. Is that a matter of 'we haven't gotten to know you' or is it more 'thanks for playing with us, but we don't like you beyond your being a musician.'

Yeah, well as I said above, I'm going to a new high school this year, so hopefully I'll get the opportunity to be part of a new crowd..

Well, no one from the Studio goes to my school. I did one play at my last school and, after that, people were telling me about mean things kids in the drama department were saying about me and I had no idea why.. So hopefully this new school works out better.

Bif, I can relate to what you've said about not feeling special in any way. I've felt that way about myself for many years during my teens.
I remember that when people told me things like "everybody feels that way sometimes" or "it's normal to feel that way", I thought they were not helping me at all. So it's weird for me to find myself compelled to tell you such things. But you know what? They might be true.
What I can tell you for sure, is that it took me a lot of time and effort (and some therapy here and there) to learn to appreciate what I can do and who I am. It's funny because the things you are good at sometimes are there, but you just don't give yourself the credit. Don't underestimate the things you do, it might lead you to neglect them and then regret it in the future; it happened to me. Trust me,  :time is a bitch in that sense... it just goes so fast.
And the girl. Well, I don't feel in a position to give you advice or anything, but I'm going to say 3 things: 1) There is always room in life for a comeback (sometimes more than one), specially when you are so young and when you two parted in good terms. 2) The first love is special. Even if you don't see her ever again, when the wound heals you'll have a pristine and beautiful memory of the time you spent with her. 3) Have patience, and be excited about the future. After the fist love, comes greater, stranger, and more vivid love. So heads up bro!!

Big hug

All the above posters have really good advice and i should quote them:)

If you are really down,
go outside, walk, see something new, explore,
 run, laugh, breathe...

Then if you can spend time with people you like,
Try to improve something each day,

I suffer from depression too, It's not fun.

But just think, It's not going to be like this forever, it's obviously going to get better someday. You're young, you have a whole life to live for.

Maybe try going to the doctor and letting him/her know, they'll probably prescribe you some meds, if you don't want to take meds, do something you love doing to get your mind off things. I love to draw, when I get upset (like suicidal upset...) I listen to some upbeat music (not like "mad world" music XD) and start drawing. Also maybe take some classes or get a hobby to meet new people.

If a thread says "it's been 90 days since someone posted, you should probably reconsider posting here," then it's probably not a good idea to necro a thread like this.. It just brings up bad memories that I don't like to think about. That's good advice, but overall your posting here did more harm than good to me.
