I think the original element is
(electicity, other dimensions), wich combined whith
(ramdomes, disorder, change) forms the 6 basic elements:

If you combine one of this six elements with
or
, you get the basic element; but if you combine two (or more) basic elements, you get a complex element.(opposite elements also produce complex elements, there are 57 complex elements)
quanta can be used to pay up to half the price of cards of other elements (including complex elements) but it also has magic (similar to EtG
cards).
magic are paid using ramdom quanta, just like
cards in EtG (This
tower would guive two ramdom quanta (except
quanta)).
The complex elements' magic uses 1 quantum of each basic element they have by each "quantum" of the complex element.
There is also a special type of magic named "other"(it's not neutral, neutral is
). It can be paid with any type of quanta, in the proporcion you want. Other deals with creating non-magical things.
