ok, i decided to somewhat start over. after a few times of seeing this topic, i noticed that it seems rather "intimidating".
the way you can tell this is the same topic after each renaming, is it will have "MMCF" before it
i need REASONS why firefox and google chrome are so great.
after this, i need details about them. as in:
do either of them slow down cpu's?
if not, do they speed cpu's up?
are they more protected than IE from viruses?
do they "mess up" any sites (as in missalign links, picters, etc)?
you get the point.
ok, now that google chrome and firefox reasons are out of the way. i need info on memory sticks. NOT memory drives. i need the things that you have to INSTALL into your cpu. the things that make computers FASTER. not stuff that will store pictures and crap, we have plenty of those things. im going to need VERY cheap prices, links to reliable dealers, and instalation instructions. please put the instructions into lame man's terms, with pictures.
next step is to clean up your cpu (i already know some of the steps for this, but for the sake of the project, please imput details, links, whatever). this includes deleting history, clearing useless cookies, clearing useless favorites, cleaning useless files on your cpu, etc.

as the name suggests, i need your help. my mom is pretty stubborn, and she wont listen to me when i try to tell ther that firefox/google chrome are the best things to use if we want this cpu to speed up. shes convinced that they will only slow down the cpu. i tried to tell her that IE SUCKS due to its vulnerablility to viruses, which are the things that F***ED UP our old cpu so dramatically. bear in mind, we only have maybe one or 2 memory sticks in, but thats beside the point. viruses will kill this computer JUST LIKE the old one. but she seems to be apathetic to that detail. so, i need some experts on this topic to try and convince her to stop being so ignorant. she refuses to listen to me, and she ends up exploding and yelling at me for no real reason. i need your help.

P.S.S. i tried to google memory sticks and good prices for them and all taht good stuff, but of course, it came up with a bunch of crap that i have no idea what the hell means, so i need someone/people to help me with pictures, detailed instruction(in lame man's terms please) to install them, and prices with links, phone numbers and all that good stuff to buy them. im making this a project for me to do.

seriously, i cant have more than one page going at a time, or my cpu starts taking minutes to load a single page in this forum. IT F***ING SUCKS!!!
