I think it's common that there's this sort of elitism and rivalry but I never really understood that, I was introduced to Elements through Kgg and I'm mainly playing on that site by habit, even though I use the main site more and more.
I've never asked myself the question about Zanz's revenue but it seems that there are about 200 - 300 players on Kgg playing Elements at just any time of the day, I don't think he loses that much because most of those wouldn't even know about elements otherwise, and as many main site players seem to have quite high Kong levels, it looks like quite a few Elemental Masters and Hero Members might have come here that way.
That the overall level is better on the main site is just natural, I mean Elements is all that it's about here, whereas most players on Kong are just passing through before moving to another badge or another game site altogether.
That also reflects in chat of course, trolls are bound to come through the Elements game chat on Kgg but I actually think there aren't that many and if you stay there for a while, you'll see that most people who are regularly there are quite all right. The main site chat is very game-specific, and I think for some Kgg players, it takes a while before they dare to come see the "real" players with their serious, elements-related discussions...
I've been on both chats and I don't think it's that bad, it's just funny how some Kong players will always be jealous or overly competitive when they meet main site players, and how on the other hand, some main site players behave quite high-and-mighty when they pop over to Kong, as if it was really filled with people dabbling in the dark, and therefore attract competitive behaviour.
But again, I think that's a minority on both sides and I believe Naesala is right, it should only be about who really likes this game, not how he got to it or where he plays it.
