i would think i am the closest affected as i more or less live in chch. i luckily had just left uni like 30mins before the shooting started and got to watch events unfold on the news at home rather than on facebook locked in the library at uni. prettymuch everyone i know is a bit spooked but doing alright, we are a hardy bunch after the earthquakes.
