(is it just me or does this sound a little too much like a funeral)
No, it's not just you. People are taking this way too seriously.

I'd like to remind everyone that this is not the first time a veteran member leaves and then later makes a comeback. Icy himself said he might do that at some point so there is no need for any kind of "Rest In Peace, Icy" kind of topics.

Lets hope he deals with his real life stuff and joins us as soon as possible.
There is no need for a lot of topics on the forums and yet they exist. I think the fact that this one is not simply spam and something that promotes a sense of community is much better than other useless threads, some of which I can confess I myself have created.  ;D

I wasn't talking about this topic. This one is perfectly fine, but having multiple similar topics is unnecessary spam. No topic of discussion is special enough to earn multiple carbon-copy topics. Those will always be merged (like I already did once).

Also devoting a week for Icy like he had just passed away or something would be pretty ridiculous considering he is alive and well. Like I said, forum members stop playing and come back all the time. It's the nature of online gaming and there's no need to make a big deal out of it. Lets hope Icy makes a return soon because he is a cool person and we were lucky to have him.

I guess some people merged with Icy's heart. Oh and, most of the people who are taking this seriously are either Icy's great friends or big fans of  :aether. But I guess this the 3rd veteran member (right?) leaving us for a long while.

I remember Evil Hamster from the Impromptu Poetry, and chriskang from the ridiculous amounts of coding he did. I think YoYoBro was the :gravity master that couldn't do the master's tournament? I dunno. :)
