I was making a new character on Sonny 2, so I had to come up with a name, but I was having, like, writer's block for name creation. Anywho, I ended up typing "noob" and randomly changing the first letter. I liked the sound of "joob" so I started using it on forums and such.

My older name, Kavesk, which is my Kong account name, was originally the name of my first character in Guild Wars. He was a wammo (warrior/monk, for those not familiar with GW), and his name held such fond memories that I kept re-using it in other MMORPGs and on forums.

Quite interested in hearing Scarergirl's story...

As the title states, I'm curious to know what inspired your forum name and/or your name on Elements. If you came from Kongregate or another site and you used the same name as on that website, how did you come up with that name?

I'll start:

When I originally signed up for this forum, I was using my Hotmail email address, so I used the name Uncle Jellyfish. Well, the confirmation email wouldn't work, so I tried again...and again...until I decided to use my Yahoo email, and it worked. I ended up with Mr. Jellyfish, after trying other names (Jellyfish, Uncle Jellyfish, Uncle Gellyfish, etc).

The inspiration for the name came from my girlfriend's kids, who would call me Uncle Jellyfish, lol. I've been told by others (since I use the name Jellyfish for other games) that it's an asian thing, but my girlfriend and her kids both claim they've no idea why they called me that. They just did. =/ But I liked the name, and it stuck, so I've been using it every since. =D

UPRC is a name that I have used since 1998 when I was going to meet a friend in a chat room. I needed a name that absolutely NOBODY else would have so that he could identify me immediately. I decided to just stick four random letters together, and voila... My seemingly permanent internet alias had been born.

My name is actually something that I've stuck with for a couple of years actually.
I've been using it ever since I got a crude Latin book for my b-day some time ago.
It tells the story of a being who is the hybrid of an angel and a demon, and how he is trapped between the 3 worlds.
The story is really one of my all time fav's.

Captain Haddock is, of course, from the popular children's comic book and cartoon series TinTin.

NEVER HEARD OF IT?!?!?!?!?!? HOW COULD YOU NEVER HAVE HEARD OF IT?

It might be under a different name in some places. Guy with a little white dog, two detectives that look almost identical and have almost identical names (Thomson and Thompson, DuPont and DuPond, etc), A bailding proffessor guy with a head that (I think) is far too big? And of course, Capt. Haddock, a sailor guy.

EDIT: I just realised I didn't say anything about my name. For some reason, my nickname at school was 'Pilchard' (no, I don't smell of fish, I think someone would have told me by now). Then I needed letters and numbers for a username for something that I can't remember. Pilchard123 was the first thing the came into my head, and I've just used it ever since.

Nope, never heard of it...well, the name "TinTin" does sound familiar, but I've never read/seen it.

TheArchduke makes me sound more important than I really am.  And I like that about the internet.
