Apologies, Kuro.  ET is in the Facebook Group with his main, which advertises his birthday, so that's how I knew.

The birthdays of people should be on their profile. There might be some code chunk out there that keeps track of birthdays and puts them on the bottom of the forum next to the massive list of who's online, for your convenience.

And then you can have a thread with rotating days and etc! Yay days of birth and the anniversaries thereupon!

1) That's way too damn many permanent threads to maintain, or to push aside while hunting for the one out of 366 you need--and that assumes they're kept alone in their own, new section.

2) A "Happy Birthday, You!" thread is much cooler than a "Happy Birthday, Whoever Happens to Have Been Born on a Certain Date!" thread.

Individual threads are the way to go.

Well, by 'rotating' I was implying that the same thread would be updated every day/week by means of some code thing with the birthday wishes for the people who happen to have their birthday in the included time. When the OP updates, the replies would probably be archived or something.

2 forums ago i think, was the calender. It may or may not be known that this is the 4th incarnation of the ETG forums i arrived during the end of the 2nd. The B-day threads should be in http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,5.0.html somewhere.

I was on a earlier forum or two, but the look hasn't changed. I'm sure that the same sort of thing isn't too hard to implement here.
