Get Fit With The Elements Community! https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=11625.msg142850#msg142850

So this is my little idea.
Usually, if you want to get fit you want to go to the gym, but for those of us who don't have the time or money, we have this.

The best part of a gym is being part of a community, and there is almost positive peer pressure to help you show up, (or at least for me) and work on your fitness, and help achieve whatever your goals are.
But, when trying to work at home, there is no real deadline, no reason to be there. So you can get distracted, and procrastinate and end up doing nothing at all. So my idea is for this thread to be a kind of 'community' page for us that want to be fit, to encourage each other, and motivate us do continue with our own, personal excersise plans, even if we are over 1000km away from our 'gym buddies'

Post your thoughts on this idea, if there seems to be a few people(even 2 or 3) who want this, I will run this thread. (will post the rules/ how you should behave to keep positive, pro-active environment)
Questions/Comments appreciated.

Seems like a good idea (especially for those of us that are american  ;) )

Im pretty fit right now, being in soccer everyday and all that, but I think Im finally to work on my abs. Dont know a reasonable goal for when to have good abs though. (I already know a pretty good workout)

...maybe by the end of the soccer season or something....

It sounds to me as you just want abs  :o
I'm going to pretend you want a fully body work out, and just assume soccer will count as cardio and legs :D

But seriously. Abs look good with chest and arms. So inbetween sets of crunches situps, whatever youre into, do some push ups.
As well as upper body, it will actually place stress on your abs just by keeping your stomach up/flat.
I doubt you'd get abs just by doing that, but it definetely wont hurt.

I personally wouldn't make it a goal to 'get abs' because that will change depending on how much you run, what you ate that day ect.
I'd just record the amount of reps of the excersise you are doing. Every week post your best push up/ab exercise thing. The general trend should rise, unless you are overtraining.

If you want abs, do butterfly kicks until you cry.
