Guild Wars was the only MMO I ever liked and one of the few games that was able to entertain for a very long time. The list of flaws was long but it had no monthly fee and a decent PvE part to accompany the cool Pvp modes. I think that because it had no monthly cost (instead offering multiple addons) it was ahead of its time and I hope that eventually more games adopt this payment model.

Kingdom Hearts 1... the first true game (pokèmon isn't a game) I had  ::) I played it maybe when I was 9-10 years old

Final Fantasy X: Sniff... I loved that game ;_; but I never had Jacht shoot

God Of War 1: I played it when I was 13 XD it's 18+ XD A perfect game where gameplay is... godly

Final Fantasy 7: crisis core: The story is fantastic...

Crono Trigger (still playing): for snes, 1995, 15 years old and still a good game

I'll try it ;)
GW1 won't receive any new major updates so therefore it is slowly but surely dying. You really need to put a lot of time and effort to be successful in PvP, and I don't think anyone should start from scratch at this point of time.

It's better to wait for 2010 and GW2.
Indeed it is. I still have multiple accounts for the game (I got 2 from friends that worked at game stores and the rest were gifts from nerdy friends alike). Pve was a big thing until you finished the game like 20 times, then everyone either upped and quite or moved to pvp like me. Then anet added like 3 more expansions to it and it got better but again once pve was over it was back to pvp.

Right ow the pvp scene is still pretty massive, though like Scared said starting from scratch right now is not such a good idea. It is a free game thus on e of the best mmos imo right now. If you've seen anything about Aion, thats another one of anet's creations, though monthly fee is added to that. Since most creators stick to graphics that they are used to I'm sure it'll look pretty much the same as GW just better graphics to fit this day and age. :)

I liked Kongai but the yomi only goes far and the character tiers dominate deck building so you keep facing the same characters over and over. I think it is still far more polished than Necromicon ever was. As for free MMOs I couldn't give you much advice other than trying to pick GW from the bargain bin or somethng similar. I do not know of many cheap/free MMOs other than GW...

Guildwars is the best choice imo. It has no monthly fees but you have to pay for the box. I would imagine you could buy one for very cheap.

I believe Dungeons&Dragons Online has also gone free-to-play recently. It's pretty good but better if you play with friends because grouping can be difficult.

All others suck imo.

Halo.  And every other FPS ever invented, from Doom to the stars...

Any other online ccgs out there?  Elements is great and I hope to keep playing it for a long time.  There's this one called Armor Wars, pretty lame, but better than nothing.  I really appreciate it's story telling, anyway.

Right, so anyone know of any other collectible card games online?
