format changes?

so how many people type in format changes instead of clicking the buttons?
like i will actually type in [ b] and [ /b] when i want to bold something. i do this cuz it helps me maintain flow, and ultimately make me type faster. i also do the same with quotes when i am trying to excerpt someones paragraph.

Actually, I've never done anything but type the html code on this forum, so I kinda lied. But on other forums, I'm guilty :-p

I use both. Sometimes I type, sometimes I use the buttons. I'm on a laptop also, but when at home I plug in a regular mouse/keyboard/monitor so it functions like a regular PC- only I can unplug it and take it with me if I want!

How I got that way- I bought a laptop, then 2 weeks later my desktop died (bad motherboard). I pulled the hard drive and put it in a USB case and have all my files, and just plugged in my laptop. I'm happy with the way everything works so I never bothered to repair my other PC.

I use both. I would imagine most people use buttons because typing those tags need practice unless you have experience in coding. I use buttons with titles and such when I use 3 or more effects like bold + size + color.

interesting choice of words. although i do get that guilty simply means you did it it still tends to carry the connotation that you did something wrong. meh no matter.

yeah a laptop definately is a net advantage over a desktop because its portable. i just prefer to use a regular mouse instead of a touchpad.
