Being a person from the United States, I am curious to know what the average person from different parts of the world listens to. I mostly listen to  U.S. pop and rock from the 70s through today.

85% Rap, 10%Hip-hop/R&B, and 5% of everything else.  I don't listen to Country and most types of Rock though :)

I'll listen to almost anything, but my heart really belongs to metal (gothic, symphonic, industrial, etc). 

I also love eclectic lesser-known female-fronted bands (i.e. Dresden Dolls, Rasputina, Yeah yeah yeahs, etc).

My favourites are Happy Hardcore, UK Hardcore, Rock and some types of dance.

However, I don't think we can answer this.

Well, in Canada, most people listen to Top 40's here but I listen to 50% trance, 20% hardstyle, 20% house/electro, 10% kpop/viet pop/classical.

I mostly like Rap (Yes anywhere from Lil Wayne to Eminem to T-Pain), R&B (Usher, Rihanna etc), and some Metal (Metallica, All that Remains etc) and Rock (Linkin Park, SOAD, Cold play etc)
