This would be awesome but I'd honestly worry about the safety of any who'd attend.

Keep in mind this --is-- the Internet. Virtually everyone can see this.

Mind you that I'd love to participate/organize for Canada.

Of course, I can't actually imagine the "party" ever really getting anywhere - and of course, the girls will be in such high demand that I bet you'd be able to spot one from a distance by a little circle that surrounds said person. Plus the international music, food issues, and to be perfectly honest, the people here don't seem, like huge party people.

I picture it being more like a family reunion. People you've never met telling you how different you look compared to what they expected, and the both awkward and truly brilliant conversations which stem off that.
You always find some individuals that give a general boost and lead the others ! And we're not all of the type that jump on women when they have something in common with us, are we ? (luckily for my 2 housemates I'm not this kind  :P). The real difficulty could be the language, and the place of meeting. Half of the community live in USA (according to the stats on helltgivre), and the others are all around the world.

I would like to meet you all too, but I would not travel more than 500km just for a party, so France, Belgium, and why not UK/Ireland are maybe doable. Or the date and place of meeting should be decided soon enough, so you can make a 1 week trip with this meeting in the middle ;)

Keep in mind this --is-- the Internet. Virtually everyone can see this.
I can't imagine something like this really attracting the attention of mad partygoers for some reason.
On the other hand, with all us underagers who attend this forum... I bet if we all pulled an ICB on the member pictures we could actually get a whole load of people coming (lots of FREE CANDY and suspicious ice cream vans)
---(ICB, if youre reading this- don't take offense. Its because I think youre awesome and keeping you in the forum memory)

I think the language would probably be English, this is a forum event, and everyone seems to write it well enough - although speaking is a different matter. If enough people attended though, I'm sure it wouldn't end up being a problem.
And yeah, I don't think most of us would be able to pull that off, plus, their is likely going to be huge age gaps I hadn't even considered.

Is it really necessary to have the "I hate the Elements community" option combined with the only "none" option?
There are other reasons for not liking this idea.
The community here is great, but I'm not going to travel 600 miles just to meet a couple people from the forums, when I can already talk to them in chat.
Somehow still around, somewhat

That part isn't necessairy, but I won't remove it. You may feel free to ignore it.

No one asks you to travel that far. If you vote (as an example) for USA - East, and in the end someone proposes a place near the south end while you live in the north end, no one is going to complain that you don't intend to go there.
I'm currently more looking for folks who are theoretically able and willing to meet somewhere in certain ares. Just so noone starts organizing stuff when there is hardly anyone in that area.

Maybe there could be more than one? Because I don't think even the most immersed member of the community would make a transatlantic flight for one of these, and most members seem to be in either Europe or North America.

Italy. Definitely Italy.
I probably won't be able to attend if it wasn't in Italy. I might have a few issues even if it is. Things like, you know, explaining to people where the hell I'mm going and why. x)
