Context really is all-important.

Imagine, for example, this sign, which was found outside of a small American business.

"We would rather do business with 1,000 Al Qaeda terrorists than with a single American soldier."

The business was a mortuary.

Context really is everything!

I agree. Even more important is how a phrase can be interpreted through different contextual ideological perspectives.
"It is common sense to listen to the wisdom of the wise. The wise are marked by their readiness to listen to the wisdom of the fool."
"Nothing exists that cannot be countered." -OldTrees on indirect counters

You also wanna keep in mind proper punctuation! Imagine losing a comma in the sentence: "I helped my Uncle, Jack, off a horse".

There's a few other infamous ones, such as:

"Eats, shoots, and leaves" vs "Eats shoots and leaves"

as well as

"Lets eat Grandma!"  vs "Lets eat, Grandma!"

Works without punctuation. Capitalization is the one you need to watch out for.
