Careful, dude. All the art on dA are copyrighted, so technically you're breaking the law if the artist didn't give you permission. I'd be pretty pissed if I see someone using my art on dA without permission.

That cake looks awesome when you invert it again to see what it actually looked like, did you actually have the cake or did you just get a picture off of internet?

I was actually going to invert a card, but I got the idea of inverting a piece of cake, and I just took the first picture of google that I could find.  I am glad that people are liking this thread.  Good avatars!

I changed my to a cool looking explosion of colors from da that I found on bing, but then saw Bs's post so i switched it to this.

Mine also looks cool when inverted

Initially mine was just a cropped version of a broken hourglass, which then had the Japanese symbols for my name Kuroaitou (originally in yellow) and 'Curator' (originally in beige). Now with the influence of Darkness, the hourglass has gotten slightly distorted... ^^;

Thank you so much. My avatar may look more plain now, but I consider it an improvement, because it is now my own (apart from the fact that I just cropped it out of something belonging completely to someone else).
