So, I've started on a "project" where I am to recommend one movie each day for an entire year.
It seems it was abit harder than expected. Now I turn to you for help, recommend ME movies, and hopefully theres something I can recommend to other!

They're all pretty recent movies (I made up the genrea things so feel free to disagree with me. Main one is in front, secondary in back), but I'm a pretty recent guy, if you compare my age to the history of movies. You've probably seen most of these, but I felt they deserved a mention within their genr thing. If I directed anyone to an actual quality movie (or Hot Fuzz) then it was worth it.

Before the studios sent the series to shitty-slasher-land, it was once the most promising horror series out there.  Human drama emphasized by the mystery and damnation of hell.  Some of the later films rekindled and caught this idea.  Very gross and macabre scenery, not for the squimish.

Wild and out-there surreal film with some biting social commentary about Television.  Cronenberg film.


The Fly (1986)

The Seventh Seal (1957)

When refer to certain movies as classics, this would be one of them.  The Seventh Seal is a meditation on life during the time of the Black Plague.  CLASSIC.


If anyone wants an extensive list on horror films, or more classic films, let me know.  I would list a lot more classics or older films, but I think they would bore most of you.  I know A LOT of horror films from almost every genre.
