It was made when SoD's cost random quanta. Sure, you can add Sancs, but there's no knowing how many you'd need. The bigger the deck, the worse your draws. I would stick with Life/Light if you wanted EM, which will give you more than non-EM over 100 HP.

Save a SoD for the last turn after your Miracle to get a 500HP EM.

Used this one.
How can you reach the EM ? Miracle makes you use all your light quanta, so you can't use SOD.. and in Octane's last turn he harms you for more than 24hp..  Maybe adding 3 sanctuaries could help ?  :-\

You can save one Granite Skin and use that after you Miracle. That should get you the EM as long as it would take you over 500HP.

Just killed him with this:

Luckily for me I got my first golem out before he used fire shield (didn't know he had that)
But it ended well http://puu.sh/1izjl
no card however  :(

Used a slight variation of this deck, it worked perfectly. I think it could use an extra heal (for EM after miracle) and an explosion, just in case he gets the firewall out before your golems.

The unupped one in OP worked pretty well.

But just now Octane had a really bad draw and that's why AI ... won  :o

  • Play Antimatter before quint
  • Safe one heal for last and play it when your opponent has 1 card left

This deck should work most of the time, but you can't recover from bad draws at all.

7 rounds and I could only win in trainer. Why do I even bother?

Granite Skin don´t heal, so cant do an EM.

It can if you save one for the end, because if granite skin or SoD would bring your hp over 500, it will leave it at a current hp of 500, so playing miracle and then one of those will give you an EM.  BTW, that deck is exactly what I use for Octane, except I add 3 pendulums and 6 sundials.

Nice one, furball. I ran a modified version:

which worked like a charm. If your opponent gets out a Fire Shield, it's usually better to hit the Quint + SoW combo on a EE, rather than trying to save your nymph, since hitting the EE also prevents damage.

This has got me to thinking, for those without nymphs - what about a Nymph's Tears trio? Something like:

Considering that there's no need for nymphs in the deck anyways, forcing them with a trio seems like a poor idea.  I would rather just stick to Quint/Reflective/SoW.

Yeah, you're probably right. Reflecting the Eyes is adequate.
