I lost with this actually. His hand filled up with about 2 more cards than me, and instead of bolting my creatures, he simply sniped them. Maybe he didn't have any bolts... maybe make the deck a few cards bigger.
I'm worried it may prevent you from getting an emerald shield in time... Maybe you could add a couple of Pandemoniums and hope they TU his cards?  Or 2 Novas, a Deflagration, and a Reverse Time.

Did he use the Explosions on your pillars?  If not, might have to include a couple of daggers.
That could work. Even with 45 cards, you'll draw an emerald shield in your opening hand the majority of the the time, and within the first 10 cards 80% of the time. An early shield actually isn't even an absolute necessity; if you can get an antimattered EE, you can stall a few gasses off. Plus you have the heals.

Overall I do like the deck - it makes sense, countering everything Octane has. When I played it I was easily able to stall him. It may just be that I got very unlucky with the RNG (as I always do) and that "randomness" element in the AI's actions made it not firebolt my creatures. Or that octane just didn't draw any :).

He did use explosions on my pillars. I don't remember which color he focused on.

I used reflective shield instead of emerald with a mark of light and worked well.

Sure.  But I wanted to keep it simple with just 2 elements.   ;)

Got Octane today and added 2 Novas, 2 Plate Armors, and a Deflagration.  He decked out when I still had 9 cards to draw.  I was able to use 1 Plate Armor on the Abomination, so after Fire Shield it had 7 health, but Octane just sniped it 3 times.  I think, based on experience with Decay, that the AI will stop bolting creatures after it has hit a critical amount of the appropriate quanta, so the creatures may be useless in some games against him.  It might work better if they were played early.  But the additional 5 cards in no way hindered the stall, so that might be the whole trick--to just have enough cards.

Reflective shield is nicer because it cost only 1 :light, instead of 5 :life.
So it can be played at your second turn.

He destroyed my two Entropy Pillars, and I did not live long enough to draw a third one despite using 3 Heals.  Yay random number generator.

I used the deck, it worked great.  i  did add some druid staves, just so my deck would have more cards, and forcing him to use up his explosions can't hurt.
also, he liked blowing up my upgraded pendulums.

Just used this deck. Worked without a problem. Won with an Elemental Mastery (and an upgraded Unstable Gas).
