Nerfing this card has no value.
It's a 1/1 creature which has only 3 (maybe 4) real synergies.
1. Light production (/w Andrenaline)
2. Protection (/w Hope)
3. Sacrifice (/w Cremation)
[4. Spam (/w Fractal)]
They are incredibly succeptible to any CC you have, with only 1 HP. This in mind, put up any shield that blocks 1 damage and no damage can come through; take into account that most other quanta producing creatures are much better: Brimstone Eater has 2/1 with Fire generation, Gemfinder is 1/1 but Earth has a lot of cards which can really use that extra quanta-- Damselfly would be an exception, so if anything, that should be buffed, or a pump-spell should be created for air. In comparison, the only 3 cards you would be likely to use the extra light quanta for are Dragon, Archangel, or Miracle. This is all disregarding Luciferin, which, upped, is free, and can be implemented into any deck, and works several times better than Ray of Light. It gives lightt production to any and every creature on your side of the field without an active ability. Luciferin is much more easily implemented in any deck than Ray of Light, and its cost is free as well. Ray of Light's also used in one other situation: as a filler for a deck, so people can rewind it with Eternity, mainly because it is free. Nerf it to 1
, and people would have no specific card to randomly rewind that isn't crucial in some way to the deck.
