I know it's suposed to be a filler and can be countered with most sheilds (excluded: Thorn carapace, dusk mantle, Fog), but in most deck sheilds aren't used. so this can be a 23 dmg group which can finish you off in 4 turns. I sugest we make it a solid filler with 0|1 stats.

When Aflatoxin appeared to beta test, Malignant Cell was a 0/1 at first, after a few days of testing it was nerfed to 1/1 cos of the ability to fill opponents field in 4 turns making them unable to play more creatures, doing so meant that the opponents was completely blocked, and a few healing on your side made you win the game.

Turning it a 1/1 means if you want to fulfill enemies battle field, you need almost a shield to hold control, or die instead.

That's why it can't become 0/1 again.

personally i think it should be a bit cheaper (say, 4, with one poison damage rather than 2), but it definitely shouldnt be a 0/1 :P

putting up 'your idea sucks' as a vote option was a really bad idea. :P

anyways, your strategy doesn't really work cuz most decks are either faster or have shields. qed.

this card has been nerfed a bit since this thread has been created: newly played malignant cell now requires one turn before it can generate another cell, unless created by another malignant cell.

It's funny how only slovenc voted "I agree".

I didn't vote. I almost never vote if the poll is created by me. Exception is on the Zodiac series thread, where I only edited the post, but twinsbuster created the series.

Eh, slightly off. This thread is about the cell itself, instead of aflatoxin.
The high aflatoxin cost prevents it too early on. I am against the 0/1, as being a 1/1 it punishes me for using aflatoxin before getting a shield. :))
Plus, against an enemy without a shield you can afla yourself.
