From a logic standpoint, it should not kill airborne creatures.

This card needs buffed. It's pretty much useless for most decks anyway. The wording should be changed, if u want to change the effect comment on the thread here:

From a logic standpoint it shouldn't kill airborne creatures, or frogs, or creatures tall enough to still breathe.....

For the game: if anything it needs a minor buff. As other people pointed out earlier, a frog drowning isn't logical either and lots of other things in Elements aren't.

But this is a game, and it needs balance. Balance-wise Flooding/Inundation should not be nerfed at all.

The card can maybe use a small buff, but it obviously isn't as bad as people make it out to be. I use it myself.

Obviously if a whole row is already attacking you, you can do without silly things that prevent killing the outer rows!

Sorry it doesn't make much sense, but be reasonable. Why should a skeleton or a vampire drown? They're already undead. Not much will be left to drown, if you get strict.
Shards aren't overpowered, as long as you have them yourself.

As seen by the 1.27 update, this card will be getting a buff.
Down to 1 absorbing water quanta.

You're just as selfish as I am. You're just not as good at it yet.

huh that's a rubbish buff. the quanta's less of a problem than what it does. this card is still useless to most tactics.

Considering that it would be mechanically underpowered since that it would then exclude a much larger group of creatures, I'm afraid I have to go with no nerf.

Flooding is one of the most under-used cards in the game. It is being buffed by the developer, who has a better opinion of game balance than we do. If you feel that it deserves a nerf after the change, feel free to PM me and I will unlock this topic.
(However, personally I would appreciate a more straightforward poll, the two options here can be seen as slightly confusing or possibly contradicting)
