i'll just put it short here. pests won't ever be nerfed (IMO). just get something to counter them if you can't stand them. lots of ways to kill those things, like eagle eye, fire bolt/lance, ice bolt/lance. shockwave. the list goes on. if they're burrowed, then i don't think you can do anything unless there's an eclipse and you have an offensive shield

In my opinion, one of the greatest (or worst, if your the opponent) things about Pests is devour is a passive skill, so it can't be lobomized making Decay a HUGE pain for Rol/Hope. Anyways, I can't really find why people would use Burrow for it, fractal the Pest and your opponent is looking for a quanta lockdown! Besides, Sanctuary was already made to counter this card...

Hm, earth always was and is still  a good duo partner for darkness. Earthquake for a petter destruction of the quanta production, earth for gargoyle, and at least: 0/2 devourer can´t survive a RoF, if they aren´t burrowed.
And I also like Enchant /Protect Artifact.

pest shuld be nerfed. if your oppenent get same amount out as you pillars, you dead.
so my idea is it shuld cost more, or have a chance to steal qauntum, but it probly need attack points then.

if you're new to the game, and are currently working on a single deck to upgrade that happens to have weaknesses concerning devourers, then i can see as to why you would want them nerfed. in the long run though, once you've worked out better decks and gained more experience, you'll probably find, not only are devourers going to be the lesser of many evils, but they are not as incredible as they seem, either. sure they steal your quanta and completely rape the opponent when fractalled, but they're weak and susceptible to even low damage, they won't help greatly in all but darkness rushes, AND they are only very specific to certain tactics, so the chances of you repetitively running into them are low.

Like said by everyone else, pest is not considered especially overpowered in the game environment, and it's use is even being diminished by sanctuary. Despite the fact that the general consensus is that it needs no nerf, I'll open it again if you send me a PM, and restructure it to meet the guideline on the sticky thread, to keep my section nicer looking than all those other, inferior ones :P

Honestly Pest is fine.

However I do offer this as a counter for the little bugger:

"If opponent has no quanta, then pests health is decreased by 1"

Therein the bugs are squashed at some point, but not instantly. Balances the game if they are brought out to early and could be cool to see how long they would last if brought out late.

I heard that pests have trouble sucking rainbow quanta.
My 3 game-modification principles:
1. If it ain't broke, don't wreck it.
2. Simple fixes for simple problems.
3. Remember to fill in the holes.

Thst's another problem. You can't be compelled to play quantum towers or use arainbow deck to delete pest effect, while mono decks must be worried every turn that the number of pests is under the number of their towers (which keep getting smaller via steal).
I understand that the card is not that OP, but devourer should be an active ability, like the quanta producer(photon, ash eater, gnome raider one...)
