Okay, so I had a thought about this a few months ago, and it resurfaced in my mind.  We all know how Armagio overshadows the dragon when it comes to implementing HP-based effects.  A thought of how to do this is to rework Armagio  into what it has always supposed to be:  a creature-shield.  So here it is.  Armagio starts out with 1|5, and casting Gravity pull grants it a large amount of HP, and then it will have a follow-up skill to grant it smaller amounts of HP per turn.

My idea of a rework:

disagree with a nerf on this one, its already a very specialized card, means it has low versatility and it will not work that well outside of  :gravity. one of its few good aspects is its huge sturdiness against CC and as a meat shield, unless you heal it or BB it, 25 (or 30 if upped) is not that much to keep it going, specially against a rush. weapons, poison, momentum, spells, catapult get trough armagio, making it worse than a real shield, but that's just a way to balance it and i really think its a balanced card, if not deserving a slight buff. The dragon can still be a better overdrive target as it starts with 5 more attack than armagio, giving him a serious advantage in terms of damage turn after turn (the dragon itself does need a buff but thats a different thread)

I may be biased as a Gravity fan and user, but I think the Armagio is fine as it is. I understand what you are saying when you compare it to the Colossal/Massive Dragon, but it has its use, and so does the Dragon (sorta). Just let it lie.

Nnnnada. Gonna disagree with this. I like the idea of using armagio without being forced to use its ability. Overdrive armagio is quite good. Go buff dragon instead of something.

As you say, armagio only overshadows the dragon in hp effects, there are still other factors where the dragon is superior, such as its higher base attack. As mentioned, armagio is already a very specialized card, so no nerf needed.

I agree with all of these statements (except for malebolgias, sorry lol).  It's basically a 6 quanta shield that can be skirted around MANY different ways.  In fact, voodoo doll with a grav pull is only 4 quanta unupped, and is almost better.  Or, you can grav pull a flying titan, which has better offense and defense.  Many gravity decks don't even bother with armagios, because they are EXTREMELY slow attackers, even overdriving it takes forever, in fact, you would almost be better off overdriving Chargers, enemy is almost dead by the time they finally keel over.  At the moment, they are only useful as selective damage absorption, and as catapult fodder, both of these being overshadowed by Titan.

GP'd Voodoo is 4 quanta + 2 card slots. Voodoo has less HP, but will damage the opponent. Is usually used in somewhat offensive combo.
GP'd Flying Titan is 8 quanta + 3 card slots. Total HP = 50. 3 Armagios, 3 card slots, 15 quanta, total HP = 75.
Flying Titan is 6 Quanta + 2 card slots. For the same slot cost with Flying Titan, Catapult Armagio does 40 damage while Flying Titan does 34 (IIRC). More quanta, sure, but it's easier to pull off.
Armagio is 6 :gravity + 1 card slot. Is usually used for Catapult and Acceleration (if not for its meatshield ability).
Chargers fall to Lightning, and Accelchargers fall to even Shockwave.

No nerf.

Quite often, the higher base attack is also overshadowed by Chargers and Titans, especially upgraded.  The issue with the dragon is that both stats are extreme, and rarely do you cater a deck to depend on both stats being at least relatively high, not to mention catering to only high hp is rare in general.  Part of me feels that this neglect can be fixed if the dragon is the only creature that has an untainted way of having high HP, and I feel that this change of Armagio helps with its rather poor performance as a meat shield in a mono, since it is in effect an expensive heal.

Apart from it's synergy with other  :gravity cards, it's not very useful at all. Not only that, but it fits into the gravity flavour quite nicely.

Your argument for nerfing Armagio is that it, and other cards, make dragon look weak. Why not buff dragon, in fact, I believe there is already a post suggesting a buff to the dragon. Next to life, Gravity is the weakest element. None of its cards should be nerfed except maybe blackhole, but I disagree with nerfing it either.

Part of balance of cards is utility and versatility, not just stats and abilities.  Armagio always being the go-to card for high-HP synergies is in my belief stealing the role of the dragon, all of which are supposed to be superior in stats as vanilla cards.  Sure, buffing the dragon with more HP can be an option,  but this feels like that would stem to Titan getting more, and I feel that that will lead to too much.
