Where I'm standing, I say that the squids/octopuses are way too OP. They only cost 3 water, and with another 2 you can freeze a creature for 3(4 if upped) turns! So If you're running a deck with no quints/immaterial creatures, one squid can completely ruin your deck by nullifying your damage AND skills, because of the 3 turn freeze, it can take total control over 3 of your cards. But seeing as it's so OP, most people(and AI) have more than 1, sometimes all 6! Lets say you have 3 of them out, 3x3=9 creatures frozen! I just want it to be balanced a bit more and maybe have it cost more or have it freeze for 1 turn.

Try to pack CC. The Squids are very fragile. Any CC will do.

When all but two CC cards can kill it, i hardly think theres a problem. Not to mention its low attack and high cost for low stats. The creature is all about its ability(which has a high upkeep to use all the time).

The main problem with this is that compared to warden, it has much better control abilities. 3|4 turn delay without delaying itself for only 2 :water.

Just wanna note that a buffed Warden can actually kill things (unlike Squid), Squid only has 1 atk (which makes it vulnerable to shields, unlike an un-buffed warden) so it's not like it's doing a whole lot of damage by not delaying itself, Warden has +1 to +4 more HP than Squid, and Wardens can usually be gotten out much faster than Squids (see Mind Flayer vs. Ulitharid).

It has better CC at the cost of its survivability. The warden's ability shines only when it gets an attack boost. Pretty balanced with respect to each other IMO.
