The saving grace here is that you usually don't need the Bolts to kill, so if you get rushed due to a low :aether draw, you can kill off Dragons and Crawlers with them. This exact scenario happened to me yesterday, and it saved my bacon. Mind you, I use 6 upped pends and 10 in total instead x)

For an even safer counter, go 10 pends and 3-4 SoG's. Oh, and always start Dim chain around 40 HP unless you have healing. His Shockwaves can do a total of 48 HP, but he won't draw 'em all of course.

I used this deck with 3 SoGs.  Worked like a charm and won with an EM.

Used this on one of my alt accounts. It's basically a better variant of the unupped deck in OP. SoW replaces deflag and SoSa replaces immortal for additional shield protection because I hate it when RNG hides shields.

I would advise against using SoSa due to Neptune's abysmal damage. This should give more EMs:

Used this today, almost got an EM too (somehow when you WANT your creatures to freeze, they don't seem to). I'm sure it could be streamlined.

Why Time Pendula with no Time cards in the deck?

Oh, duh, for the last turn evolution of the Graboids. I am not used to thinking of a 500 life EM deck as killing with damage. I was thinking maybe you wanted Eternity to keep from decking out or something.

Easier (and maybe more) EMs, yes. But probably a lower win rate because it is easy for RNG to run out of dims. 2-3 SoSac pretty much ensure you can stall the entire match.

Went for this variation of Deuce's deck. Had just enough stalling mid-game when I didn't have Dims and drew 3 SoSaC in a chain. Just after they were depleted I drew 3 hidden Dims and won with 2 left over in my hand. I only had ~33HP when I won due to Shockwaves but it certainly had a higher chance of winning than if I had 3-4 SoG in that game. Very well done Deuce :)

Electrocutor was just something I throw into almost every Mono Aether I make. Probably should've been a dragon instead.

I've noticed people tend to forget about Longsword. I often fit it into my MA counters when I don't have room for another Dragon or SoW. It can rack up as much damage as a mid-game Dragon due to how early it gets out. 'Course, if you're not maxed out on SoW's, you're better off with another one of those for draw consistency, assuming the FG in question has a troublesome shield. Permafrost is one of the most troublesome x)

PDials gives Neptune a good spanking as well.  Just got an EM (but no cards, grrrr).

(this is probably well known since Neptune is one of the weaker FGs - but I figured I'd mention it).
