This new FG is a laid back challenge, his hand gets screwed over because he has too much creature control. Of which are pretty useless because most people immortalize their creatures nowadays. As for Inundation, it's like it's not there at all. Hasn't crippled my play at all. But overall, I like the different style a lot as opposed to the existing FGs. Too many FGs are permanent control relentless.  :)

Any idea what he could have played to 1 shot me?
Sounds like you decked out maybe? How many cards did you have left?

Anyways, Neptune  isn't hard as long as you have quint. He plays a lot of creature control early on, but his only permanent control is the trident, and he doesn't seem to have :earth quanta.

He also seems to be low on pillars, I was actually able to wipe out all of his pillars using pulvy. Maybe he just had a bad draw against me though.
