New False God: Neptune https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=5186.msg51730#msg51730

Found him a really easy god. I didn't draw a quint till very late game (about 2 cards left) but it wasn't too difficult to manage a win. Neptune likes to congeal then shockwave everything. I saw inundations in the spinner, but he never played one. An early immortal oty seems like it would be a guaranteed win and Permafrost Shield+SoGs managed to stall long enough.

Seems really easy, indeed. His deck is not balanced well: he played an octopus against me in the first turn, then did nothing for several turns. I began with a fairly wrong hand but could overcome easily.

He played that new flooding card against me but it was fun because it continually made my bone wall stronger and stronger by drowning my fireflies and skeletons  :D

However, I don't mind an easier god after Dark Matter and Divine Glory...

Just an octopus? XD for me was artic dragon rush creature control with EE and shock waves xd not getting a quint for my oty was bad luck, no permanent control, I was not able to swarm but i think that with a boneyard a FQ and a bone wall=win

Flood kills fractal based decks...thanks for another god I have to skip when not playing rainbow....I actually consider switching back to rainbow now, even though I hate it.

I just faced him for the first time, not too bad since I got my oty with a quint out round 4 and I saw inundation for the first time, he got it on his last turn, unfortunately I did not get to see the effects, finished him with mastery.

Does neptune have a life mark with sapphire / aether pillars? i playd a god today labeled as "none" and it wasn't a god i recognized. I went through the other new god threads and didn't see that set up either so i'm wondering if its neptune. he played a lot of quintessenced creatures, had a few dragons and some forest spectres etc. I'm just wondering which god i played

Sounds like Elidnis, not Neptune. He Quints everything and works on an invincible offence of Forest Spectres, Ulitharids, and Puffer Fishes.

Yeah that's Elidnis all right

As for Neptune, I found him the easiest of the new gods. Thing is, as long as you can get down a quintessed Otyugh, the metagame is yours. It helps that I run a purple nymph so quinted that and anti'd his dragons. Still easiest of the lot so far, though I've yet to play Eternal Phoenix

Yep, Neptune is an easy win with an OTy. Eternal Pheonix is the hardest of the new gods. Very fast, and creature control wont really work

I agree. Decay and Osiris are more difficult than this one.

Thought I had an easy win the first time I came up against him, then he played flood and something else and I instantly died. I didn't have a shield up but I was at 100 hp. I have no idea what he played.

Against him I stole his tsunami early on and denied him any towers. This made it relatively easy to get my army out and beat him down.

Any idea what he could have played to 1 shot me?
