Yes, it's a Zelda game for the Gamecube - the one with the cellshaded graphics that looks "cartoony."  So many good tunes... even though you have to spend long stretches of time on the open ocean, the ocean music made it SO much more bearable, and never got old.

The World Ends With You has my favourite video game OST ever...

Maplestory has surprisingly good music compared to most ORPGs.

The Super Smash Brothers games always had some nice remixes of nostalgic oldies :P
IDK...Sonic, MegaMan, and Castlevania...maybe Street Fighter? I never got bored listening to those songs.
Final Fantasy is pretty high up there on my list, too :P

Maplestory has surprisingly good music compared to most ORPGs.
Yeah, too bad you have to stay in one place to get anywhere in the game.
If I ever have to listen to another one of its repetitive loops even one more time, I swear I will somehow obtain the nearest gun and shoot myself in the head.

I was in high school when Castlevania: Symphony of the Night came out, my brother and I both loved the game, and that year he ordered the soundtrack from Japan for me for xmas. I was absolutely over the moon, it's such awesome music!
...right up until you hear that awful Kenny G noise at the end. Ugh.

Also, have any of you checked out ocremix.org? If not, I fully advise doing so. Great site for vidja game music.

Motoi Sakuraba!
He did the work on Golden Sun, Baten Kaitos, the Tales series... and it goes on and on
He rules.
I also love Wind Waker but when I got to the Dragon Roost Island my memory card got corrupted.
Has anyone else here played Ikaruga? I like the Boss theme.

Shadow of the Colossus is great too.

HECK YES.  "Butsutekkai" is not bad, but my favorite is "Reality" - the fourth level's theme.

Best space shmup ever created.  It is in its own universe of awesome.

Shadow Hearts -- the music from Neameto (the last "dungeon") was so awesome I didn't want to beat the game because I wanted to be able to come back to that piece of music.

IMO Shadow Hearts is also one of the most overlooked RPGs ever. Half the coolness is the setting, fantasy meets historical fiction -- the first game takes place in the runup to World War I, and the second game, Shadow Hearts: Covenant, takes place right after the war.

"One more regret" and "Resonance", both by Kesshin, heard in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory
