Some studies or surveys say that often a person's taste in music is attributed to their exposure around the age of 14.

My tastes happen to line up with personal experiences around that age, is this true for anyone else here?

Not for me. My taste is the same since the age of 8, and comes till now from my favorite anime openings. The music genres which I like the most didn't change much since then.

Not really for me.  I mean, I guess I was mostly into classic rock around age 14, but I more recently got more involved with JRock/JPop.  Although some of it is in the same style...

14 is when I first got into electronic music, which is generally my personal preference to this day, so yeah, accurate for me.
