There are way too many music genres available.

I suggest you start a topic for each genre you want to talk about.

I agree. There would easily be twice as many subforums as topics for discussion in those subforums. There has to be a significant amount of diverse discussion content for there to be a need for a subforum. Individual topics are fine.
