Which is your favourite metal band? Mine is and will ever be Blind Guardian. Hail metal bards! . Also love Avantasia and Edguy.

What concert was the best you've gone to? Alice Cooper, of course!

Best guitar/bass/drums/etc. player? The best guitar player ever  is obviously Jimi Hendrix. Alternatively, Boris Pfeiffer (In Extremo), on the nyckelharpa. I have a thing for strange instruments. :x




Best ever concert experience: Lordi coming on stage pre-Eurovision, making all the little emo kids go confused and sad when they kicked in with "The Devil Is A Loser". Then they got crushed in the middle of a moshpit.

I'm a drummer, so I'll list my favorite drummers: Niel Peart (Rush), Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater), and Ryan Halpert (As Blood Runs Black)

Way to many to choose from so I'll make a list. Ensiferum, Nile, Amon Amarth, Bathory, Behemoth, Blind Guardian, Chthonic, Sigh, Cryptopsy (early era), Death, Goatwhore, Dying Fetus, Mercenary, The Lamp of Thoth, Vektor, Symphony X, Autopsy, and about 50000 more.

Even more to choose from! As of right this second I will say "Destroying the Cosmos" by Vektor.

I have actually never been to a show if you can believe that.

Hansi Kürsch from Blind Guardian, a close second is Ed Cunningham from the lesser known Ogre (check them out, disbanded unfortunately but they made some amazing stuff). Then Quorthon from Bathory.

I live heavy metal/rock'n'roll every day, just love it. Hard to choose favourites, but I'm quite oldschool in taste, so AC/DC, Saxon, Motorhead, Judas Priest, ZZ Top etc. was actually listening to Steppenwolf last night!
I've been to most of the major European festivals, so hard to choose favourite

I've often mused over a dream team line-up kinda thing, these aren't people I think are the best but who I'd have in a dream team band:

Vocals: John Garcia (Kyuss, Hermano etc)
Guitar lead: Doug Aldrich (Dio, Whitesnake etc)
Guitar rhythm: Malcolm Young (AC/DC)
Bass: Steve Harris (Iron Maiden)
Drums: Mikkey Dee (Motorhead) - I've no real clue about drumming, so gone for entertainment value lol.

Right now, I'm on an Ozzy renaissance, but I couldn't ever pick just one -- off the top of my head: Anthrax, Megadeth, Helmet, Fear Factory, Beautiful Creatures, Fight, Demons & Wizards (best parts of both member bands IMO), Black Label Society (or anything else Zakk Wylde ever does really), Type O Negative... I also have a significant weakness for hair metal.

And your favourite ballad? Testament, "Return to Serenity"
What concert was the best you've gone to? Only one I've ever been to was Dream Theater, but it was fantastic
