By "deutsch" do you refer to German or the language spoken in the Netherlands, Dutch?

Since there are so many varying levels of language knowledge, I may just shift from a listing type of system to one where each person can grade themselves from 1-10 in terms of their knowledge of the language given standard criteria.

e.g.
1: I know a few words.
5: I've studied it a lot though I can't say I'd know how to write a 5-page essay.
10: Jokes? Accents? Sarcasm? Slang? Proper grammar and punctuation? I know it all!

Using that example, my Spanish, compared to Mrs.Hola's could be shown as such:

Mrs. Hola	◆◆◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇

Maybe even an extra 3rd column for personal comments about how you learned the language or if you'd like to learn more, etc.
What do you guys think? Better? Too much?

Also i think for the "third column" you could have a * (native) + (learning) - (rusty or forgetting) and some other symbol, or just a blank, for maintaining

At first I'll see the overall feelings from the community, whether they be 1 or 10 comments. Then I'll take appropriate action.

As for the symbols, I just kind of wanted to make use of that space in informative ways. Might as well use phrases and fill in that space. ^_^

EDIT: But everyone who posted in this thread may feel free to start rating from 1-10 based on the criteria I mentioned before, or a criteria that you choose and outline. I'll use whichever feels more informative.
