Allora: sfoggio il mio 30 in statistica per dire che, con confidenza del 95%, quando hai 35 ninfe ne dovresti avere almeno una per ogni elemento.

 35 = (ln .05 ) / (ln (11/12))

arrotondando all'intero superiore, che è il conto che risulta dai dati del problema...

grazie Tom ! quindi se fra 10 ninfe non le ho tutte posso incazarmi ufficialmente con l'RNG !

e per capire di quanto discosta dalla normalita' basta lo scarto quadratico medio o servono altri indici?
perchè dovremmo studiare il caso di Fabio, mi sembra che la distribuzione sia veramente sbilanciata....

cmq per sapere quanto sia schifida la sua distribuzione basta calcolare un paio di indicatori e vedere che valori di confidenza danno...

con 35 ninfe la probabilità di averne almeno una per elemento è del 95,2 %, si noti come oltre a una certa soglia poi non cresce più di tanto, per esempio per avere il 99% di probabilità di averne 1 per elemento ci vogliono 53 ninfe, per il 99,9% ce ne vogliono 80, e così via...

Noi vi stimiamo un sacco a voi matematici. Scrivete cose incomprensibili, ma spesso ci evitate di lavorare su equazioni differenziali mostruose  :P [Ultimo anno di Fisica teorica]
