@sirio: ormai i tuoi farm non fanno più notizia...magari posta quado fai un non farm e vediamo se sono più frequenti i mazzi "normali" o i farm...

il mio mazzo sta scalando la classifica...al momento è 28esimo dopo 3 giorni, ma stanotte, contando che arriva la ser negli USA, prevedo che scalerà ulteriormente...ho perso decisamente traccia del rating, per cui non so dire quanti pollici in su abbia preso (se ne ha presi), ma spero che possa fare altrettanto bene del suo gemello il mese scorso...

Ok, raggiunti i 285.000 punti, gli ultimi 15k fatti con lo sPlaT

Il mazzo Splat è davvero efficace ma, come dicevo in chat oggi, il metagame in platinum sta cambiando; ho trovato una valanga di mazzi pieni di purify, healing e feral bond. Cose che non si sono (quasi) mai viste. Della serie: trovato il mazzo che farma bene, si creano subito mazzi counters.

Sto seriamente pensando di tornare ad usare per un po' il ghostmare...

@ Rav: il tuo mazzo l'ho provato e, malgrado adori l'elemento :time di cui ero Master, l'ho bocciato. Sorry!

Io sto SERIAMENTE pensando che il RNG abbia qualche falla dovuta alla sincronizzazione del timer.
allora: ho chiesto a una mia amica e non sa come funzioni l'RNG in questo caso, però poi ho chiesto a google e non ho traovato fuori nulla di buono, quindi mi sono ricordato che il generatore di numeri pseudocasuali è lo stesso dello standard del c++, per cui i numeri che produce dipendono principalmente da quanti secondi sono passati dal 1/1/1970, comunque il gioco avviene totalmente offline, una volta sincronizzato con i server per trovare l'avversario, nel caso dell'arena...Se invece ti metti a farmare ai3 o god, puoi anche disconnetterti da internet, ricordandoti però di connetterti a fine giornata per salvare i progressi...Quindi tutto il match avviene sul tuo pc, con calcoli eseguiti dalla tua cpu, bla bla bla...a tal punto che credo tu possa modificare la data del sistema per forzare l'RNG a fornire i numeri che fanno comodo a te, visto che Xenocidius ha aperto un topic in cui spiega il funzionamento dell'ai, puoi fare in modo di costringere l'ai a giocare da cacca, acnhe se è piuttosto noioso e una perdita di tempo, molto più efficiente giocare onestamente...

Il papirozzo al solo di scopo di dire che non essendoci alcuna sincronizzazione durante il match, dubito seriamente tu possa appellarti a quello per giustificare un calo di win rate...

Per sincronizzazione non intendo col server, ma della generazione del seme del PRNG a fronte di una chiamata, anzi in questo caso ho notato quando vi son numerose chiamate multiple nello stesso istante.
Ti faccio notare che non ho mai parlato di cali di win rate o cose del genere, ma dato che sto studiando queste tematiche, unita al pizzico di conoscenza di statistica che ho mi fa seriamente pensare che andrebbero fatti test specifici per valutare l'accuratezza dell'algoritmo di PRNG per come viene usato.

beh il seme credo che lo generi all'inizio del match e non lo rigeneri più, se no tutte le chiamate multiple darebbero lo stesso esito...secondo me non credo che ci siano problemi con l'RNG, anche perché andrebbero ocnfrontati con l'utilizzo che l'ai fa dei numeri sputati dall'RNG.

L'RNG del gioco non si basa sui metodi random standard del linguaggio Flash. Non si sa bene perchè, ma Zanzarino ha scritto il programma in modo tale che estragga un certo numero di... numeri e li cicli. Una roba tipo 290 e rotti numeri. Li cicla finchè non si fa ripartire il programma - quindi dopo un tot si torna da capo: l'RNG è effettivamente fatta abbastanza male. La fonte è Chriskang, sulla Wiki ci dovrebbe essere un articolo chiamato "Chriskang's Sandbox" o qualcosa di simile.
