Well well well.
Time for me to make another project im likely to forget about in distant future!
I like movies. Seeing as you are on this board, you hopefully like movies!

Now, lets have a "movie-club" where watch 1 movie each "week" (7-14 days depending on my schedual to update this) and discuss abit about it!

HOW TO JOIN/PARTICIPATE

For starters, you dont need to participate each week. If the movie seem interesting or you have time, you may. If you dont want to a week for a reason as no time, simply not wanting to or really really hating the movie, thats okay, skip a week (or several).
Well, its VERY simple. All you need to do, is watch the movie within the given timeschedual (in order to discuss it with us here, before we move on to the next movie)
and post your thoughts on it here! How you aquire the movie is not my problem, but if you require a link to an onlinestream etc. PM me or nudge me in chat about that! :Honestly, I dont care how you get it, but here's a few suggestions; download it, buy it, stream it online, steal it from a friend, mug an old lady or sell yourself in order to aquire required cash to buy the movie.
Please use the form below, or something close to it when posting your first post about a movie, after that, please start every reply with the title of the movie we are discussing. Ofcourse we can discuss, argue, fight or call duels to settle disputed over movies aswell, just please start each reply with the title of the movie we're discussing, BOLDED.

Acting, editing, cast etc. all of those are also things to discuss, everything around/with the movie! :D

A little post "formula" if you want
Code: [Select]
Title: TITLE OF THE MOVIE
Thoughts:
Rating: */10
Why that rating

So, we need to have some "basic rules" wich is lame but required.

RULES:
Spoilers go in spoiler tags
Code: [Select]
insert crazy spoiler here
I'm only interested in thought based on the viewing of the movie done within this "week". If movie of the week is Casablance, and you saw it 2 years ago, don't write anything about it here unless you see it again. Then you could write something like: "When I saw it 2 years ago, I didnt care for it, but now i liked it etc. I was glad you told me to look at insertsomething here and there this time, it really gave me a different outlook on the movie" stuff like this is cool.

Im not interested in "saw it last week, meh." or "saw it when it first came out", "everybody has seen this, pick something else".  this shit ain't cool, please refrain from posting this.

I pick the movie EACH week. Yeah, I went there. THOUGH, submissions WILL be looked into and considered AS LONG AS THEY ARE SENT IN PM'S WITH THE TITLE: "Movie of the week" or "Movieclub". those are more than welcome, a title is enough, but it'd be more likely to get feautured if you included some spoilerless info and maybe a synopsis, a few thought of why you chose that movie etc.

NO SPOILERS. I cannot stress this enough, its not cool.

Title: King Kong (2005)
Thoughts: Well, I've always liked king kong, and I still do. I remember my first viewing at the premieres. I had been up for 50hours, so the minute I sat down in the threatre and they turned the lights off, I fell asleep.

This viewing, well, I tried focusing more on the acting, wich seemed to be pretty decent, some overacting at times but it really suits the scenes better, so I'm VERY happy with that. And who'd thought, Jack Black in a serious role o.o! This movie will stay a classic! I watched the "special extended edition" wich is 201 minutes long (3h 21min) and well, solid afternoon!
Rating: 7/10
I give it a 7 out of 10 possible due to great acting, good animations, suspense action and no boring parts throughout the entire movie. What I'd like, is a lot more backstory on kong.

Title: Pokemon Mewtwo Returns
Thoughts: Wow, I mean, this feels nostalgic. Pokemon was a part of my childhood sortoff, this shits amazing. Its not what it once was, but theres still some scenes that gets me edgy, and scenes that makes me smirk.
Brock; I didnt know Vikings still existed
Ash; They mostly live in Minnesota!
Rating: 7/10
Back when I was a kid, I'd probably rate this a 15/10, but now. Its good entertainment, still pretty fun, nicely animated with some humor, action and suspense. Its actually a good movie! (Voiceacting kills alot) 7/10 for you, pokemon 1!
